As we come to the first week of April, our hope for some consistent spring weather resounds along with the sound of the baseball bats and the appearance of the robins nesting onour property.
Next Sunday is the penance service at St. Mary Church in Colts Neck beginning at 3:00 pm. This is a good opportunity for those who were unable to attend the one here.
Join us this week for Soup and Scripture on Wednesday evening, beginning with Stations of The Cross at 5:30 pm. The Knights are holding a Family Pizza night this Friday, April 4, beginning at 5:30 pm. Come for Stations and stay for pizza!
The Diocese is sponsoring a Job Fair on April 8 at St. John Vianney HS. Anyone looking for jobs in the schools in the diocese is welcome to attend. Please bring your résumé! Details can be found further along in the bulletin.
As Easter approaches (April 20) note that donations for Easter Flowers can be made using the order form in the Bulletin or on the website. Please contact the parish office if you have and questions.
On Monday, April 14, the Chrism Mass will be held at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine (Freehold). It is a beautiful Mass, celebrated by the Bishop, and attended by virtually all of the priests in the diocese.
We are moving forward with some projects for our school, with the goal of having a dedicated and furnished music room in place, hopefully by the opening of school in September. You will note some other projects happening around the parish as the spring and summer get underway.
The air conditioning project in the church is scheduled to be done during Easter week, so we are in good shape for the summer ahead. Yes, we will all miss that mighty roar when the air conditioning kicks in!
