Please join us this Sunday afternoon (3/15) for the Sacrament of Confession. Our Easter Duty as Catholics requires us to receive the Sacrament during the Lent or Easter Season and this open Confession time provides easy access to multiple priests. If you cannot make this one, St. Mary in Colts Neck will hold their Confessions at the same time and in the same format next Sunday (3/22). We also offer the Sacrament each week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings following the 9am Mass.
Soup and Scripture continues this week on Wednesday with Mr. William Kusch from the theology department of St. John Vianney HS as our speaker.
Please note that there is a change to the Easter Sunday schedule this year. The Easter Vigil is celebrated at 8pm on Saturday (4/4) and as per usual, there is no 5pm Mass that day. On Easter Sunday we have the 6:30am Sunrise Mass celebrated in the plaza in front of the church. This is weather permitting, of course. The Mass schedule for the rest of the day is 8am; 9:30am; 11am, and 12:30pm. The 12:30pm Mass will feature the children’s choir and will be the children’s Mass. Please note that there is NO 5pm Mass on Easter Sunday. We are quickly gearing up for the Holy Week celebrations. May the blessings of the Lenten Season continue to enlighten everyone.
It was nice having a tease of spring and summer this past week.
Have a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day (17th) and a most Blessed St. Joseph’s Day (19th). Join us after the 9am Mass on Thursday for the St. Joseph pastries.
